This is a project I did of my Mother who passed away in 2005. This is to document the last time we had spoke on the telephone. She had her friend send me this photo and was sooo excited to share it with me....she went on to tell me the story of my father bringing her apples...she then remarked " I loved apples".. "Isn't he sooo handsome"...Mom was 14 years old when this was takenThis was the hardest thing I have ever made and I want to thank all of you who helped me with the title and for your prayers I cried sooo much putting this together...today it went well and I knew it was due to all of your prayers....again THANKS!
I used a 7 Gypsies portfolio for this used Heidi Grace rub-ons to decorate the outside along with the 7 Gypsies pronged book handle both from Frost It Pink...thank you Amy!!!

Oh Brenda this is the most amazing thing I have ever seen!!! So much feeling and I know it was so hard. I had lost me dad in Feb. and I still have not been able to scrap anything of him...I want to but I just start crying every time. What a wonderful tribute and it is just GORGEOUS!! As difficult as it must have been to start and finish this project of yours, it turned out beautifully.. It will be a nice heirloom for future generations..I decided after seeing yours, I will make something (maybe a word book of some sort) of my grand mother. so I don't ever forget her.. now, I'm all teary..geez! I'm just a big softy..LOL :o)
