When I right clicked this award I took notice it was called the "Love Ya Award"

This award is given to blogs that are exceedingly charming. These bloggers are not interested in increasing their own status, but rather aim to find friends and be friends. The hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are born!

Kalahari

I finally got to get a Sketchy Thursday layout done!!!These are photos of my niece Janie and her daughter from a trip they took to Kalahari Resort this past summer.
Heidi Grace "Regan's Closet" card stock was used along with my Cricut cartridges: Pooh Font Set for title, Animal Kingdom for the turtle, Plantin Schoolbook for the grass.
I used my bamboo place mat for the photo mats and added some beads and fiber from my stash.
I tried to make my own "thickers" I first cut some mat board then glued my title cuts and then applied the Liquid Glass.

Once Upon A Time

This is my DT project for http://ymhdesigns.blogspot.com/ I have been trying forever to get this layout done in between my visits to the bathroom...yuk! Thank you so much Kristina for being so understanding!
First I want to thank my son for restoring this photo for me, you did an awesome job!
This is a picture of me when I was 3 months old I am so glad that I got this from Mom before she passed away.
I had so much fun collecting my all white embellishments for this layout at work and home.
I used a white satin fabric and used a Peel & Stick Mounting Board for textile art. I also have some white doilies, lace and trim all from Jo-Ann Fabrics.
The feathers were inspired from my dear friend Sandy. I also got inspired from Gabi for the flower centers she showed us how to make using hemp and pearl paint.....now there was a $10,000. video in the making there when I tried to figure out how to dry them! Gary is sitting on a gold mine and doesn't even know it!!
Genuine Swarovski crystals are also used in the center of flowers, butterflies and the bicone beads on my name. I really love how they sparkle!
Kristina's Primas and dew drops were also used, make sure to stop by her store. And follow our DT blog as well.
The Cuttlebug embossing folder was used on the rattle. A Wizard die was used for the time piece, set to the time of my birth.
Cricut cartridges used: Home Decor for the chandelier, Hannah Montana for the butterflies, New Arrival for the rattle,Home Accents for the leaves (look at the lil tiny ones my new Cricut cut those!), Storybook for the title.

Cupcake Card

I know most have you seen these floating around the internet. I just had to try to make one. The next one will turn out better hopefully. I didn't use the right type of paint for a good flow plus wish I would have used different colored buttons.
I love how the cherry pulls up to hold the message.....not showing the message due to it is for someone special and she reads my blog.

Joys Halloween Costume

Here is a Hot Dog costume I made for Joy....she loves going trick or treating she really loves doing her tricks for treats! I know she isn't a dachshund but she has the body for this! With her lil short legs and long body I think it works! Aden let me go outside this morning to take some pictures but he found a mud puddle so back in we came! Was hard to get some good shots the other 2 dogs were messing with her and she kept looking for the car she thought she was going for a ride! Wish Dora would let me dress her up but she tears me up when I try to dress her for as little as she is you would think mommie would win....not!!
This is made using the Simplicity # 3952 pattern. It is also where I got her Santa hat pattern from that is in my profile picture. This really was a challenge for me due to the foam rubber but I did it! If all goes well I will have a layout done for tomorrow...it is an all white one of my baby pictures. Also hoping I can get a Sketchy Thursday layout done. Thank you Kristina for being so understanding.I really thought you & Diana both would have me on a milk carton! And thank you all for you kind words on my blog! Jocelyn you made me cry....you girls are the best!!!
