finding out it IS cancer

Prayers needed.....I have been sooo sick for months and all the scans tests and finally a biopsy last week confirmed our worst fear that it IS cancer....we found out on Monday.for someone like me who has always been scared of needles and doctors I am a lil surprised how brave I have been to go through all that I have this far....seeing my husband sitting there in the recovery room was sooo heartbreaking....and again on Monday when he held my hand when we were told it IS cancer....I kept praying that it wasn't but I am sure God will get me thru all of this....it was HIS hands that I was holding during the biopsy on thet ct table...they did the biopsy in the radiolgy room ...scan then back out to grab a tissue or cell to be collected for testing ....that noise was sooo scary...now on the 21st we go in for another biopsy on my adrenal gland cancer cells weere also detected there and in my kidney,spleen & liver from the PET scan I had done a few weeks back....please keep my husband Gary and my son Shane in your prayers.I am trying to stay positive and not let my fears take over...It is stage 1 so I am hanging on thinking I can fight this

Aliah easel card/with drawer

Fell in love with this image Aliah from Crafts and Me.... colored her with my prisma color pencils and OMS...and finally made me one of those drawers under my easel card....sooo happy with the way it turned out. Plus using Prima papers I have had forever made it sooo easy to coordinate. The butterfly's are from images I found on the internet printed on photo paper and added stickles to them.
I found a way to insert a tag for my personal message by making a hidden pocket for it....after I seen some one trying to sign one of my cards...thought I needed to so something to fix the problem...added some fibers and ribbon to the tag.

Fairy Flora Mini Album

I haven't done a mini album in a while...and this one was made from all my stash I have been collecting....except for the Prima wooden ticket and Websters Pages perfect accents...these are new.
I fell in love with the Prima Fairy Flora line and mixed it  with some Tim Holtz and K & company...   I sanded the edges for some distressing. .I even used some acetate from packaging for one of the pages and added a rub on and punched the edge. Loaded this one up with some charms I made and hung them on the binding rings

Thank you all sooo much who helped celebrate my Birthday and me getting to 200 followers...it took me a while! I want to welcome all my new followers and hope you continue to visit and get inspired. I also want to thank the few that have stuck with me thru it all and continued to follow and leave your love...you KNOW who you are...I am sooo happy to be crafting again and sooo excited how I feel I have grown as an artist...but I still have a long way to go and I am determined not to give up...there is sooo many new ideas I have in my head and can't wait to get them created....I now wake up everyday wanting to get  in my room and create....no more laying in bed crying about what life throws at me...who says "Ya can't teach an old dog new tricks?!" I had sooo much fun doing this card..love the image from Krista Smith at the Saturated Canary!! Love love love her digis!! Colored her in using my prisma color pencils and oms

I went with the Rihanna song Umbrella for my sentiment on this one...

Again the K & company paper was thin (was in a box of designer paper) that I used on this one layered it with my cereal boxes.

Used the Plantin School Book Cricut cart for my oval cuts Home Decor for the label and Serenade for the clouds...and added my rhinestone strips for my "rain"

My first "rain" themed card

I had sooo much fun doing this card!!! The digi stamp is Patsy April Showers from::http://www.stampfairy.com/digistamps_easterspring_patsyaprilshowers.htm

I used my Cricut to cut the cuts on this card Plantin SchoolBook for the oval mats...layered with the cereal boxes to add deminson and stability (my tip for Tip Top Tuesday) this time I used it under all my paper layers I used the Forever Young cartridge for the scalloped mat,Serenade for my clouds and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder

Added some rhinestone strips for my "rain"...lovin how they turned out...wish I had more...but again loveee using my stash! Also added a tear drop rhinestone on the pink rose...also rubbed stickles on the Prima flowers...wish I could capture how this looks in real life...and "feels" using the cereal boxes under my patterned paper really makes for a nice built card...the patterned paper is thin...but ohhh soooo pretty! I even made hubby wash his hands (after going around and around him telling me his hands were clean...joy) and "feel" it...he agreed you don't notice how nice it is until you feel it!

Birthday card for Aden...joy...he is going to be 4!!!

Omgosh...still in shock my lil Aden is going to be 4 tomorrow...another card I was working on for him ...I was using a 3 and Gary brought it to my attention...he is turning 4...joy!Most of you know he is my great nephew and that I have been watching him since he was 3 months old...that went fast!

I fell in love with this image from Stamp Fairy and since I need the experience coloring...wanted to do a card for Aden....he loved it....he just left with it! used my prisma color pencils and oms....added liquid glass to his nose and eyes... also my Tip on the Tip Top Tuesday challenge... since my black gel pen is dried up...also had issues with the white gel pen on his lil cheeks ... I have sooo much to learn

Birthday card

Here is a card I made for my niece yesterday was her birthday...I fell in love with the image Aliah from Crafts& Me ...I know I have a long way to go on my coloring...but I am determined to try and get the hang of it.... plus sooo relaxing...I colored her using my prisma colored pencils and OMS. I added stickles to the butterfly and made my own stick pin (a first for me) from my stash...added some feathers and Prima flowers.

I made the box for the card using the swiss dots embossing folder and sprayed some lace with Popsicle glimmer mist and added a button ...used a magnetic closure on this one.
